Energy, Oil and Gas

The East Mediterranean and Middle East regions host an abundance of natural gas. In addition to being home to more than half of the world’s crude oil reserves, the Middle East North Africa (MENA) region is also one of the world’s most demanding energy consumers. This is a trend that is expected to continue over the coming years.

Infrastructure

Infrastructure investment is a critical consideration for economic development. According to the World Economic Forum (May 2015), the Middle East and North Africa region will need to invest over $100 billion a year to maintain existing and to create new infrastructure to serve the growing communities and cities across the region, which highlights the massive investment in infrastructure needed in the next few years.
